Piet Ouborg
Born in Dordrecht (1893) and died in The Hague (1956).
Taught art for a long time in the Netherlands East Indies.
Painted, and painted in water colours, masks, heads and figures and landscapes
naturalistic, surrealistic and subsequently favoured the abstract school
(1930-1940).
In 1938 returned to the Netherlands. Worked as an art master in The Hague.
From 1947 abstract work that is highly colourful and has an interesting
composition.
Member of the Vrij Beelden group. Has also exhibited in Paris at the Salon
des Réalités Nouvelles.
Various exhibitions in the Netherlands.
